Snorkel SCAT

For over three years, GEEC personnel pioneered an innovative way to take SCAT techniques and apply them to the near shores of the Gulf of Mexico.  The data collected from this process was used as a mapping technique to show the oiling gradients along the Gulf of Mexico during the BP MC 252 Deep-water horizon spill.  GEEC Personnel worked in every state associated with the MC 252 Spill and logged over 85,000 man hours without a single incident.
